Notice to all new and returning members!
Before any rider can join either our Saturday morning road ride or our Wednesday evening mountain bike ride, they are required to complete the membership forms AND pay the full membership fee. Due to Bicycle Nova Scotia regulations, if this doesn't happen the rider is not covered under the insurance policy and may thus jeopardize the insurance for other members.
We strongly urge you to download and fill out the forms from the site HERE so you can have them ready to drop off at the shop. Any riders showing up late for the Saturday morning ride and hoping to rush through this process will end up either riding in a late group or missing the registration altogether. Someone from the club will be in the parking lot of Bicycles Plus before the store opens to take registrations until the ride starts.
The store itself will not be responsible for taking these registrations before the Saturday morning ride, as it is separate from the club. Also, your registration fees MUST BE IN CASH OR CHEQUE - AND EXACT CHANGE IS PREFERRED! You cannot use debit or credit card and shouldn't expect the shop to make change for you.
During the week the shop staff will happily help you register, but the mad rush on Saturday mornings will not be the shop's responsibility. So having your form filled out completely with cash or cheque attached will make for a quick sign-up and have you ready to join your friends on the ride!
